Art and Culture Lab presents creative workbook in collaboration with Hem School and partners
The Art and Culture Lab project in collaboration with Hem School and a number of other local partners has now resulted in a new creative workbook ready for teachers and educators to use. Created in collaboration with Skive Library, Skive Music School and educators from MUSEUM SALLING, this book contains a range of exciting activities and materials that have been developed through the project.
As part of the project, students at Hem School have participated in a series of creative workshops where they have created mythical animal collages, drawn mythical animals, made trolls and even composed a brand new mythical animal song. These activities have helped to strengthen the students’ creative skills and their understanding of art and culture.
Anja Høegh, Project Manager at Art & Culture Lab. Says: “We look forward to presenting the workbook to the students, teachers and educators at Hem School on October 2nd, where we will personally hand over the book. This will be a special occasion where we can celebrate the work that has been done and give the teachers and educators new tools to continue the creative work with the students. The workbook will later be distributed to all our partners in the project so that more people can benefit from the creative ideas and materials”.
“The Art and Culture Lab project is coming to an end, but there is still an opportunity to hear more about the project on November 18th at Skive Museum. We will be joined by external speakers who will participate in a day of exciting presentations and workshops. We look forward to sharing this creative journey with even more people and hope for a great turnout on November 18, where everyone is welcome; it’s free to participate and you just need to register via the museum’s website,” concludes Anja Høegh.

About Art and Culture Lab:
Art and Culture Lab is a project that focuses on exploring what happens when we work interdisciplinary and inter-institutionally. How can we support each other’s work and thus the work with children and young people.
The project aims to challenge common practice and see what happens when we come up with new ways and methods of working.
